Helping vacation rental hosts on Vancouver Island start their Airbnb and VRBO vacation rental listings with a professional photo collection.
Staging ideas, listing preparation and final touch design consultations are also available for hands-on assistance with getting your Airbnb or VRBO listing launched or refreshed with a comfortable, clean and professional looking rental space.
All Airbnb sessions include photos of each room in your rental space, all interior spaces that guests will be using as well as exterior views, parking and guest spaces.
Detailed shots are included to show off a few amenities such as your coffee bar, backyard patio views or luxury bathtub.
Resort Amenities, Neighbourhood views, attractions, beaches or other local viewpoints can be included with your scheduled session for an additional cost
Only one unit is included per session, please discuss if you need multi-unit such as the top-bottom suites of a house or A-B resort units.
Travel fees apply for sessions outside of the Ladysmith to Qualicum Central Vancouver Island Region

If your rental is in a destination area and you wish to have your own photos of a nearby beach, town centre, hiking trails or tourist attractions, this can be added on to your session
Viewpoints & Attractions add-on starts at $50+gst for the extra time, please discuss details to confirm

For new hosts who want assistance with ideas to pull everything together or prepare for your photo session, on-site consultations and staging reviews are available.
We will review final design touches and recommendations for amenities, lighting, cleaning notes and staging to prepare to make the most of your photo shoot

Professional listing photos stand out first to potential guests when they are scrolling the lists and maps of rental listings, especially in popular vacation areas with up to hundreds of other rentals.
Your airbnb headline photo is the first chance to stand out so it needs to be the best photo of your space, or the most exciting amenity if you have something like a pool or direct ski hill access.

The cost of a shoot is usually about the same as a one or two night stay, so you just need to book one or two extra guests to cover the cost of this investment, and the fresh photos should help attract more guests.
What’s different between a real estate photographer and an airbnb photographer?
While many photographers offer both real estate and airbnb photography, there is a slight difference in what they need to photograph and deliver.
Real estate photos show a bright, generic, well staged and de-personalized space to appeal to a broad range of buyers. They shoot wide angle to show your space looking as big, wide and spacious as possible, with a few minor details in close up.
Airbnb photography is supposed to invite people to come in, get cozy and be on vacation, or enjoy their working home away from home with all the supplies and amenities included. It’s more like an interior design magazine photo session, to show your space in natural light with personal details and comfortable extras and amenities to make people feel like they are ihave everything they need and will be able to enjoy your clean and comfortable space.
The furnishings, towels, bathroom shower size, designer details, personal touches and vacation amenities like beach chairs, kids toys or a bbq are all important to show in your photos.
You also need to include accessibility images such as doorway entrances for wheelchairs, any staircases required to access the unit, parking locations, and then local trails, beaches or other amenities that people are likely wanting to enjoy during their stay.
