Casual and candid, funny and craft-beer infused, or just making a splash at sunset to cheers another summer gone by, let’s create a photo session that’s totally you. Fur babies are always welcome.

It’s the time to feel nostalgic, and to make new memories to give you those feelings all over again in the future. These are the couple’s photos that are all about you and what you want to feel when you look at them. It can be as simple as a walk on the beach with your dogs, or a mountain view sunset hike with a champagne toast. Candid, but with a few flattering poses and a moment or two where you’re looking at the camera, before you’re back in action just being yourselves, with a little coaching of course. We laugh, we act ridiculous and we try to have as much fun as possible to make this session easy going and still romantic and beautiful.

Vancouver Island Engagement Photography Sessions are available in Parksville, Nanaimo, Gabriola Island*, Qualicum Beach, Ladysmith and Central Vancouver Island Locations.

Additional travel fees, ferry costs or minimum packages may apply for other locations including Victoria and the Gulf Islands.

My style is real, natural, colourful, and in the moment. I help you relax, go with the flow and try not to feel too silly, while still being yourselves and catching a little romance in the process. We pose a little and get you into some flattering positions, but the rest is up to you two, with a little guidance on what looks best.

Photos showing you and your partner together, in life moments and activities, are SO important, especially 10, 20 years down the road when you still like each other and want to remember those early days together.

Fur-babies and kids are welcome at your couple’s or family sessions too, but it doesn’t hurt to take time out for a date night photo session that is just about the two of you and a little down time to connect.

For those who want to spend some time having fun, but don’t want to go on too big of an adventure, the 30 minute session might be a great fit.

This session includes the edited digital gallery of the best images for you to choose your favourite 10 images for high resolution digital download

Surprise Proposal

If you want to make something special happen, let’s chat about your vision, your ideal setting, and if you want to add anything extra light a champagne pop or a custom romantic picnic or flowers.

These sessions are uniquely designed for you at your ideal location so let’s discuss all of the details and plan a custom session for you.

Full Engagement Session

Let’s plan a personal engagement session unique to you and your partner so you have some great photos to use for the save the dates and wedding announcements. And because having a couple’s photo session before the wedding is a greart warm up to your wedding day, with a lot more unique locations to choose from

Adventure Session

This is your session and you want to make the most out of it, without having to pick just a few favourite images after.

We have time for a bigger adventure or a more unique location that is perfectly-you, including hiking, waterfalls or boat rides.

Time for a wardrobe change if you would like 2 separate looks OR 2 locations close together, or perhaps you want to end your session with a splash.

This session is approximately 90 minutes and includes the full digital gallery to download all of the best, edited images from your session (approximately 100 - 150 images)
